About Marcia
I'm not here to fix you.
I'm here to walk beside you.
I'm Marcia Yateman — coach, author, and creator of The Alquimia Method™ for Emotional Transformation. But before any of those titles, I was a woman who had lost herself. The journey back — through my own darkness — became the work I now share with you.

The Dark Night of the Soul
The Season That Broke Everything Open
For years, I lived inside a life that didn't feel like mine.
I had built a business that emptied me instead of filled me. I was inside a relationship that drained the very essence of who I was. And underneath all of it — forty years of past hurts, self-doubt, and the exhausting, relentless need to please everyone else.
I was sleepwalking through my own life. Functioning on the outside. Fading on the inside.
They call it the dark night of the soul — and that's exactly what it was. A season where everything I thought I knew about myself, about God, about what I deserved — collapsed. Not gently. Not gradually. It came apart.
I couldn't sleep. I couldn't eat. I couldn't pretend anymore that the life I was living was the life I was meant for.
And somewhere in that darkness — in the quietest, most honest moment I'd ever had — I heard it:
"To receive what I have for you, you have to empty your hands."
I had to acknowledge the cage. My own mindset. The beliefs I'd been carrying that were never mine to hold. And I had to find the courage — not all at once, but moment by moment — to let go.
The Awakening
What Came After the Breaking
The awakening didn't look like a sunrise. It looked like clearing.
I let go of the relationship. I let go of the version of success that was suffocating me. I let go of the story that I had to earn my right to exist.
And in that emptied space — that painful, holy, terrifying clearing — something began to return.
I found my voice again. Not the voice I'd been using to keep everyone else comfortable — but my real voice. The one that writes songs. The one that speaks truth. The one that says, "You don't need to be fixed — you simply need to be heard."
I rediscovered my voice as a songwriter. I remembered my calling as an emotional healing guide. And I trained deeply in how the mind creates the patterns that keep us trapped — and how to gently, powerfully, help people break them.
And from all of it — from the wreckage and the rebuilding — The Alquimia Method™ was born.

What I Believe
My Core Beliefs
The quality of your emotions determines the quality of your life.
Not your circumstances. Not your bank account. Not what happened to you. Your emotions — and your relationship to them — shape everything.
Your past doesn't have to gatekeep your future.
The story you've been carrying is not the story you have to keep telling. You can turn the page. You can turn the pain into wisdom. You can begin again.
You don't need to be fixed. You simply need to be heard.
Healing doesn't start with a diagnosis. It starts with someone truly listening — without judgment, without an agenda, without rushing you to "get over it." That's the space I hold.
Your emotions are messengers, not enemies.
There are no bad emotions. Only messages we haven't learned to hear yet. Anger was your protector. Grief is love with nowhere to go. Anxiety is your nervous system asking for safety. When you learn to listen — everything changes.
You are a conscious creator.
You are not at the mercy of your life. You are a co-creator of it. And when you heal the emotional patterns that have been running the show, you step back into your power — not the power of control, but the power of alignment.
How I Work
My Approach
The work moves through three movements:
Understanding What You Carry
We begin by gently naming the patterns and beliefs that have shaped how you move through life — not to judge them, but to understand them. What once protected you can be honored, and then set down.
Coming Home to Yourself
Lasting change isn't only about insight. At a pace that feels safe, we practice ways to settle your system, notice what your body is telling you, and feel more at home in yourself.
Stepping Into Your Sovereignty
As the weight lifts, you reconnect with your own inner knowing and sense of purpose. You become the conscious creator of your life — not a passenger in it.
This is coaching and emotional support — not psychotherapy or medical treatment. It can complement therapy, but it does not replace mental-health care when clinical support is needed. It is the work of becoming who you were always meant to be — by meeting, honoring, and transforming every part of what you've carried.
Why I Do This
The Bigger Vision
I do this work because I know what it feels like to believe you're too much — and simultaneously, somehow, not enough. I know what it feels like to be the one everyone leans on while you quietly come apart. I know the exhaustion of performing a life that doesn't fit.
And I know what it feels like to come out the other side.
Not because I'm special. Not because I had something you don't. But because I was willing — finally, desperately, courageously willing — to face what I'd been running from.
That's the only qualification that matters. I've been in the dark. I found my way through. And now I hold the lantern for others.
We are walking each other home.

A Personal Note
If you've read this far, something in you recognizes something in me. That's not coincidence. That's the part of you that's been waiting — maybe for a long time — to be seen.
You don't have to have it all figured out. You don't have to be "ready." You just have to be willing.
However you found me — through YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or a moment of searching when you needed it most — I'm glad you're here.
You are not behind. You are not broken. You are not alone.
Let's free your mind, together.
